This Christmas Sammy and the Happy Elf have been busy helping Santa with his hectic Christmas schedule by giving out presents to all the good boys and girls at Ullswater 'Steamers'. However they managed to find a few spare minutes to squeeze in an appearance on ITV's 'The Lakes at Christmas.' One step closer to stardom for Sammy! The episodes are still available to view online at ITV Player for a few more weeks - make sure you don't miss it!

Calling all wildlife watchers! From Glenridding Pier we have had great sightings of Red Deer on Place Fell and flocks of geese including Graylag, Canada and Barnacle have been grazing beside The Pier House in Jenkins Field. So come on down to Ullswater 'Steamers' and keep those eyes peeled!
